I’ve been working in the field of mental health for 10+ years and I consider it a true privilege to walk alongside people as they face life’s most difficult and defining moments.

My passion lies in helping individuals heal from trauma—whether it stems from childhood experiences, relationships, loss, or other life-altering events. I believe trauma impacts not only how we feel about ourselves but how we connect with others and move through the world. In my work, I focus on creating a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their stories at their own pace, develop tools for resilience, and begin to feel whole again. My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, but I also believe deeply in the healing power of presence and connection. Every person’s story is unique, and I tailor therapy to meet each individual’s specific needs, goals, and strengths.

I strive to bring empathy, honesty, and even a bit of humor into my sessions—because healing can be hard work, but it doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, or past trauma, my goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered to move forward.

In my spare time, I enjoy cheering my boys on from the sidelines, spending time with my hubby / family, being outdoors, and traveling.

I specialize in treating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety, and depression in both teens and adults. At the core of my work is a holistic and person-centered approach. This means I strive to understand and incorporate your unique story, values, and strengths into our work together honoring you as the expert of your own experience.

I am trained in several evidence-based modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Emotion-Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT).

I consider myself a dedicated, intensive trauma counselor who brings both intensity and compassion to the healing process. I have experience walking alongside clients through some of life’s darkest moments. In order to accomplish this, I work hard to create a space where clients are challenged to confront what’s holding you back, but always with kindness, respect, and unwavering support. I have trainings / certifications in trauma, grief, trauma-based addiction, & DBT.

My approach is direct yet deeply empathetic, rooted in the conviction that every person is capable of meaningful transformation. I don't sugarcoat the journey—but I walk it with you, fiercely believing in your strength even when you can’t see it yourself. My clients know for 100% certainty that I won’t give up on them; and that’s often what makes the difference.

In my spare time, I like to hike, read, kayak, & spend time with my husband and dogs.

Amber Woicehovich, LPC

Hi there! I’m Amber - a counselor who believes therapy doesn’t have to feel clinical or awkward. In fact, it should feel like a conversation that empowers you, helps you grow, and feels uniquely you. My goal? To create a safe, supportive space where you can breathe, be real, and do the work that truly matters. My approach is holistic and client-centered (which is a fancy way of saying: I meet you where you are and we take it from there). I mix proven techniques with real talk, genuine care, and a few cat stories if you’re into that kind of thing!

I help folks navigate all kinds of life stuff—from relationship ups and downs, to anxiety, ADHD, trauma, & the big ol’ emotional rollercoaster that is being human. Whether you’re dealing with self-esteem struggles, learning to regulate emotions, or just trying to figure things out, I’m here for it—all of it.

When I’m not in session, I’m usually hanging out with my cats, soaking up the outdoors, or reading a good book. I value balance, authenticity, and a good laugh & I bring all of that into my work with clients. So if you’re looking for a therapist who’s warm, real, and fully in your corner, I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.

As a queer therapist, I offer affirmative therapy rooted in the belief that healing happens when we feel truly seen and supported—especially for LGBTQ+ folks and those navigating the complexities of non-traditional relationships. Whether you’re exploring gender, sexuality, identity, or connection, I meet you exactly where you are, with curiosity, compassion, and zero judgment.

I have experience working with queer and trans individuals and partners in ethically non-monogamous (ENM) relationships who are experiencing relational distress. Whether it’s communication breakdowns, boundary struggles, or the growing pains that can come with expansion, I help you move from disconnection to deeper understanding. Together, we will rediscover the why in your relationship. Other areas I have experience in treating include anxiety, depression, past trauma and various forms of insecure attachment.

I also bring a sex-positive lens to the therapy room, because intimacy matters—and for many, it’s intertwined with identity, pleasure, and vulnerability. Together, we’ll unpack the stuck points, challenge shame-based narratives, and co-create space for connection that feels authentic, affirming, and aligned with your values.

You don’t need to fit into a box to be supported here. You just need to be you—and we’ll take it from there.
